I. Call to Order and Introductions
Council President Carrico convened the meeting and called for introductions.
II. Discussion on the Council Auditor position
Ms. Staffopoulos, OGC, explained that the purpose of this meeting was to discuss the salary for the
Council Auditor. Ms. Taylor, Council Auditor, is retiring in May and the Personnel Committee just
unanimously approved nominating Phillip Peterson to be the next Council Auditor.
CP Carrico asked what the current salary is. Ms. Taylor said the current salary is $252, 570.24. She said
she recommends the same salary for Mr. Peterson. Mr. Peterson concurred with the recommendation.
Motion/2nd (Howland/J. Carlucci) to approve setting the new Council Auditor's salary at
$252, 570.24, the same as the current Council Auditor, with a prospective effective date of May 28th.
Approved unanimously 3-0
Ms. Staffopoulos explained that for this salary approval, the procedure is to draft a letter signed by the
Chair (CP Carrico) to go on file with Administrative Services and Employee Services.
