ORD-MC Concerning the Authority of the Board of Library Trustees (Board); Amend Chapt 90 (Board of Library Trustees), Sec 90.102 (Authority of Board), Ord Code, to Create a New Subsection (C) to Auth the Board to Apv & Execute, for & on behalf of the City of Jax, Non-Financial Memoranda of Understanding (MOUS) with the Library’s Affinity Groups (Friends of the Library & Foundations Established to Support the Library’s Progs & Svcs), Not-For Profit Orgs, Government Agencies, & Other Libraries Together with all Amendments thereto for the Purposes of Enhancing, Expanding, or Improving Library Svcs or to Provide Training or Professional Development Activities without further City Council Authorization, Provided However, such Agreemnts (1) Do Not Require Addnt’l Funding from the City, (2) Do Not Require the City to Indemnify or Hold Harmless a 3rd Party Beyond Existing Statutory & Common Law Obligations,(3) Provide for termination at will upon 90 day Notice Clauses, ...
