ORD Approp $543,289.35 in Grant Funds from the U.S. Dept of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, thru the State Attorney’s Office, 4th Judicial Circuit of FL, under the FY 2018 Natl Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI), w/no local match, to provide salaries and benefits to 1 Full time Cold Case Detective in FY 2020/21 who will work exclusively on SAKI, including traveling to collect lawfully owned DNA evidence, & to provide funds for the purchase of addnl supplies to facilitate the collection & testing of DNA evidence; Apv & Auth Mayor & Corp Sec to Exec & Deliver, for & on behalf of the City, the subcontract btwn the State Attorney’s Office, 4th Judicial Circuit and JSO; Oversight by JSO Dept of Investigations & Homeland Security.
